Especially after I first start moving and when I am near to stopping I get a loud noise from the front end. It is loud enough for those outside the car to hear it. It never happens while driving along. I have had a Chrysler dealer and two auto shops look at it. It is not a sharp sound. Had the motor mounts, brake system, front end parts and CV joints checked. Based on input I had the struts and a worn front wheel hub/bearing replaced. No help. Over time it is happening more often and louder. There seems to be no relationship to whether my foot is on or off the brakes. I can sometines hear the noise when going over a speed bump.
