Changing automatic transmisson fluid in 2012 Nissan Frontier

I have a 2012 Nissan Frontier with approx. 35000 miles on it. The dealership recommended that I have my transmission flushed & fluid changed the last time I was there. I was thinking that this didn’t need to be done until 60000 miles. Should I go ahead & have it done now or wait?
TIA

Most service items have a mileage number and a time number ( usually in months ) so look at your manual.

I’m inclined to say change it. I change mine every 30,000 to 40,000 miles. You might get a quote from the dealer and a couple of independent garages that you know do quality work. Pick the one you like best based on quality of work and price.

If you do change it, make sure you use the exact fluid specified. Is it a CVT?

If NIssan recommends 60k service intervals, that’s probably what I’d use if I owned that truck. This presumes the truck is used in a relatively benign suburbian soccer mom manner and not like a taxi or operated in a severe environment.

Thanks for all the replies. I’m going to have it changed. Didn’t think about the months.
Will have had it 5 years this coming June.
