My1998 chevy cavalier 2.2L cuts out when smash the gas. We tested it and the air fuel mixture goes from 14.6 to 12.2 when you hit the gas. Starts great, idle ruffs when under a load when at a stop light. Has a new fuel filter no change, platium plus are 10,000 miles old, car has 78,000 miles. No codes at all.
clean the throttle body and mass airflow sensor and check for any vacuum leaks.

Okay, we had a cracked plug, one bad plug wirer.
We took it to a garage and it through 4 error codes, plus 1198 don’t have map sesor.
One cracked plug, one bad wirer, new plugs and wires was the answer.
