Sorry to burst yer bubble, guys…
If I was the parent seeing the person every week is not what I would want.
Fake news? You mean the media would print something that wasn’t verified?? Say it ain’t so Joe. I just had to laugh the other day when one of the TV reporters was being called on about why they released a story that was unverified and he said they had three sources. He said one of the sources was the New York Times. Hee hee hee, they use each other for sources. That’s not what I was taught in Journalism.
Me either, but it’s shockingly common these days. They often don’t even attribute their other-newspaper sources, which is stupid on multiple levels.
I noticed several years ago that journalists and proofreaders seem to have disappeared.
Considering the starting salary for a TV journalist is often below $20,000, and most outlets won’t even let you do real journalism work anymore, that’s hardly surprising.
News? This is a year old internet meme, entertainmet. If you look closely the damaged Fiat is a pick-up, the other a SUV.
Well no wonder they are pushing for the $15 minimum wage then. But of course they would then be considered independent contractors and not even get mileage.
Why wouldn’t get mileage. I have contractors that work for me at $65/hr and they get paid mileage.
Dang, I hope so! That’s an incredibly low wage for an east coast contractor that has to buy their own insurance etc… We’ve paid more than double that rate but I’m reluctant to hire contractors for other reasons and prefer permanent hire if at all possible (especially softheads )
