Car won't start

I have a 95 Buick Riviera. When you put the key in, the car won’t start. Then, you take the key out, and it starts. Then the next time you go to start the car, it won’t start.

Your problem description is a bit vague…but could it be related to the chip you might have in your ignition key? Do you have a chip? If so the contacts in the ignition may be wearing down or something to this effect…when you reinsert the key maybe it can then read the chip? Just a thought.

Sorry. I realized it was too vague. It is also supercharger. I wondered about the contacts and how much it would cost. When you turn the key over…absolutely nothing happens. So you remove the key… Then put the key back in…you hear the ding, ding, ding that means the key is in the ignition, put your seat belt on, close the door, and all that stuff. If you hear the ding, ding, ding, then you can know that the car will turn over. Battery is good. No chip that I know of.
