Car won't start

I have a 1997 Dodge Intrepid. It turns over but won’t start. I was told the anti-theft security device needed reset. I was also told this car doesn’t have that feature. The car hasn’t been stolen or tampered with. It’s been running fine but all of a sudden just won’t start. Any ideas?
