Any tips on an 07 Cadillac CTS not starting regarding the radio/starter issue?
Sorry, that is just plain wrong. The radios GM uses come from Delphi, a parts division sold off many years ago. There is NO connection between the radio and the starter.
And that answers your question as well.

not the starter itself. We are talking about the anti theft system and the car not starting. Regarding the radio.
We’ve talked to several Cadillac dealerships/service dept and all of them say if you take out the factory radio the car won’t start. And that you have to take it in. To have it reprogrammed. We just want to know if you buy an aftermarket radio, if the car will start. (It will then be able to complete its process of “theft deterrent” not getting stuck on the radio. )
