I have a 97 Buick Centry(autotransmission)
The car frequently doesn’t want to change gears. The longer I hdrive the car the more often it happens. I have taken this vehicle in to 3 different mechanics and they were unable to solve the problem. It makes no mechanical noises when this happens I just lose power until it changes gears. Sometimes I can power it through a gear change by flooring the gas. Its main problem is between 20 -35 mph, and going up hills. At 70 mph it has a fluttery feeling.
If you have any recommendations I would appreciate it.
Thank You in advance for you help
Sounds like some sensor fault, VSS maybe?
I would imagine the fluid is at the proper level and has been checked under the proper conditions?
