Car stalling - 96 Camaro Z28

Our '96 Camaro Z28 just started having a stall problem. It can be driven for awhile, then after stopping, once restarted will run very rough and then die. If left for some time, then it can be restarted. Error code mentioned MAF sensor. Thought was fine, then it did it again. Spark plugs need to be replaced - could that be the problem? Do spark plugs run differently when the car is warm as opposed to a cold start?

Your spark plugs could be the problem. If you know they need to be replaced, that is where I would start in resolving this problem. You also need to change the wires, distributor cap, and rotor. I know it is going to be expensive and a pain in the butt (secondary ignition parts are expensive for your car), but you need to do it right. You may want to consider replacing the ignition module while you have it apart, also. That can cause a hot stall problem, and the cost will likely be negligible on top of doing a tuneup on this car.
