Car Radio

I have a 2000 pontiac sunfire and my radio light has gone out, the radio still works just can’t see the station numbers or clock, I tried putting new fuse and that wasn’t it, can anyone give any suggestions on how to fix this problem.

My experience with these items is that they are not generally economically repairable. You are better off seeking a good used item from a salvage yard or exact fit replacement from crutchfield.com or some other electronics vendor.

I suspect that the LED panel itself, is the problem, and replacing only the panel will solve the problem. The kicker is that the labor cost to do so is generally more than the cost of a new radio. It is much easier to replace with a quality new or used part.

Agreed. With a nine year old car, I would probably learn to live with it. Otherwise, you will probably need to replace the radio.
