Car exhaust deattached

Hello, this is about opel astra 2004 car. So I was riding on a bumpy road and hit a big bump, and I figured out that the exhaust got deattached in one place. Somebody

knows how bad this is? Does it only need some welding or do you need a new exhaust or something, because it’s seems pretty rusty there.

Really quite simple . Just have a muffler shop handle this . They will know what to do.

It will likely need the rusty parts replaced. You can’t weld rust. Follow @VOLVO-V70 's advice and take it to a competent muffler shop.

Yep, check with a shop. I’m guessing at least the muffler and exhaust pipe, along with clamps etc.

An exhaust leak into the cabin is dangerous, so make sure you get a proper repair here instead of cutting corners.

We have an excellent independent exhaust system shop in my city that has been in business since the late 1940s. I used to replace mufflers myself. However, the last time I needed a muffler I took the car to that shop. Parts and labor were less than what the muffler cost me at NAPA for that car and the shop did in ten minutes what it took me almost two hours to do counting the time it took to go to the auto parts store.
Go to your independent exhaust system shop.

You don’† save much money by doing echaust work and you always get rust in your eyes if you try.
