Car barks like a seal when I turn right, sometimes

Hello everyone,

I had my 75 TR& out yesterday, and I noticed when I take a sharp turn to the right, rather slowly, usually, it goes, wah, wah, wah, somewhat metallic in tone–coming seemingly from the center of the car. Will make the noise when breaks applied.

I noticed this a year or so ago too–it’s not getting any worse, and it doesn’t do it all the time, so I’m not too worried. But, any idea what it might/could be?

Thanks,

Marjo

Disc brakes? wheel bearing. Fan belt slipping. all make this kind of noise sometimes.
Does it only happen when you are moving? This is a Triumph sports car?

Ah, yes, sorry, it’s TR7–a Triumph, right. I only does this when it’s moving. I was thinking it might be the disc brakes at the front (drums on back) rubbing. Wheel bearing something I hadn’t thought about though.
Thanks for the thoughts,
Marjo

I’ve seen dust shields do this too.
