2000 Chevy S10. Brake and ABS icon lights come on occassionally. Turning off engine and restarting will sometime cause lights to turn off. Not always. Brakes are good. Any help will be appreciated.
Start by checking the fluid level in the brake master cylinder.
If the primary brake warning light comes on, the ABS light will automatically come on. That’s because the ABS won’t function if there’s a problem in the primary brake system. Once you figure out what’s causing the primary brake warning light to come on, it’ll turn off and so will the ABS light.
