Bonneville Panic Alarm

I recently purchased a 1997 Bonnevile and the panic alarm goes off on its own. It can be in our locked garage when it happens, so no one is messing with it. Our mechanic and the dealer cannot figue it out. It cannot be disarmed. Mechanic said it might be bad batteries in remote. That was not it. Seems to happen more in cold weather. If left unlocked it does not happen. Any ideas what it is? If so any solutions?

It cannot be disarmed. I find that hard to believe!

In any case, if you or the dealer would get a wiring diagram and start going down the list of sensors, one of them or a wire or the computer will be at fault.
