Bobble?

I have a 2003 Ford Ranger pickup (57,000 miles) that has a rattle in the front end when driving slow. You can feel it in the stearing wheel as if something is loose but it doesn’t affect the ride or handling of the truck. My mechanic says it’s called a “bobble” and it’s nothing to worry about. He said it’s probably something loose in the shocks. Have you heard of this and should I be worried?

The link kits should be checked. On my 01 Ranger they failed about that same milage along with the ball joints.

Thanks Wizard, that makes sense. I’ll check it out.
