Boat in storage

I HAVE AN INBOARD BOAT WITH A MERCRUISER 225 HP WHICH HAS BEEN IN STORAGE FOR 6 YEARS. IT WAS FOG-OILED WHEN PUT IN STORAGE BUT THE FUEL TANK WAS FULL WHEN STORED. WHAT SHOULD I DO TO THE ENGINE IF ANYTHING BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO RUN IT AGAIN? ALSO WHAT TO DO TO THE FUEL TANK? THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ANY SUGGESTIONS!!!

REMOVE THE TANK, DRAIN AND CLEAN IT. AS FOR THE ENGINE, CHANGE THE OIL, CHECK HOSES BELTS AND HOPE THE GASKETS DON’T LEAK ANYWHERE!!!
