The sporty Lexus variants are a bit garish for me, but will be much more reliable than anything German. Infiniti tends to have slightly less numb cars than the standard Lexus models, with the little Q60 couple closely related to the Nissan 370. It has a useless back seat, best used as a parcel shelf, but is a very sporty and stylish little car. You might consider an Acura TLX if you want a mid-sized sedan. It’s not a BMW, but a bit sportier than a standard Lexus. I also wonder where this amazing cash discount is coming from. Car dealers want people to finance cars. Interest (even at low rates) is a big part of their income. They usually expend considerable breath trying to talk cash buyers into financing, and certainly don’t give them big discounts.
My last car loan was in 1965 for my Dodge Dart. Ever since we have paid cash for our vehicles and driven a hard bargain on the selling price.
