I heard of someone putting together some type of water vaporizer in the fuel line to increase the gas mileage. Does this work? Does this harm the engine?
It does not work. There is something called water injection and that came from some of the aircraft in WWII to increase take of power. It has been used on car engines but one small mis-calculation and there goes the engine, a hydraulic lockup and the rods are history.
Pure scam.
