I have a 1999 diesel F-250 that is in dire need of tires (That is, way beyond the little nubbly things). Of the 248000 miles on it most were hwy miles but also an appreciable number of towing/hauling miles. I foresee the next 248000 miles to be about the same.I am ignorant in the way of tires and can’t afford to be taken advantage of. Could you recommend tires please?
great thanks for all help!
go to www.tirerack.com they have tons of information and reviews of tires for all makes and models.
If it’s a 2wd super duty, I’d recommend these:
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Bridgestone&tireModel=Dueler+A%2FT+Revo&partnum=385R6ATREVOWL&vehicleSearch=true&fromCompare1=yes&place=9&speed_rating=R&speed_rating=S&speed_rating=T&speed_rating=U&speed_rating=H&speed_rating=V&speed_rating=Z&speed_rating=W&speed_rating=Y&speed_rating=(Y)&load_rating=D&load_rating=E&load_rating=F&load_rating=G&minSpeedRating=R&minLoad=D
check your door tag for size. good year has been the best for me.
they should also be a d rated or e rated tie.
