I have a 97 Ford Taurus that is in need of a new transmission. I do not want to put the money into it. How can I sell it honestly and make the most profit?
Purely personally, I would work out how much the tranny job will cost and knock that off the price, telling them why. Or knock some of it off and wait for them to haggle. I wouldn’t cost a new one, just a repair or replacement with a second hand one from a wrecker, that would be a reasonable action in my personal, non-legally binding opinion
