my 89 plymouth acclaims tranny is sliping it has th 3.0 Liter 4speed auto. my question is will the 96 dodge caravan with the same motor will the tranny work for the acclaim.
I think your best bet for answering this question would be to call a salvage or wrecking yard. They are very familiar with which trans. will interchange with which. They are buying and selling and swapping this stuff all the time. If it won’t work, they can probably even tell you why it won’t.
If you are planning on spending ANY money for this I would urge you to consider a newer vehicle maybe from the late 90’s at least.
