I love my Genesis, but occasionally, on start-up, the audio system stops working and the screen is blank. A friend of mine bought one around the same time I did and it has happened once to him. Anybody else experience this? Have you talked to Hyundai about it?
I do not own a Hyundai, but usually this can be linked to one of two things: A poor connection somewhere or an internal problem with the unit. If the car is still under warranty I’d have the dealer deal with it.
You might try leaving the system off until the car has been started. The software may have a bug that causes problems when it briefly loses power as the car is started.
I’ll try that…and contact the dealer too.
