Audi A4 1.8T Cabriolet Comfort control Module

I am looking at buying a 2005 Audi A4 1.8T Convertible. the dealer is waiting for a Comfort control Module to come from Europe.
I’ve looked on line to see if this model and year had a recurring problem with the CCM, but can find nothing.
Has anyone heard if this is in fact a serious problem, or will the car be fine once new one is fitted?

I don’t think this will be a serious problem at all. The reason I say this is because from personal experience I know that electronic temperature controls on most vehicles are on the weak side. I have never owned a vehicle with electronic climate control that didn’t need the controller replaced at least once. I think your Audi will be just fine after the new CCM is installed.
