Audi A3 2015 car makes creeky sound only when going over bumpy road while pressing gas pedal, HELP

Hello everyone,

So i have problem where my car makes noises over bumpy road while pressing gas pedal, noises are coming from front of the car and i think somewhere where driver and front passenger legs are.

Symptoms are in every gear but i hear it the best when car is in 2nd gear.

Car makes noises too when i suddenly press the gas pedal like “thump + creek” sound, is hard to explain and when i press clutch there is thump noise too. (the sounds are not continues happens only once till i do it again and over bumps it depends on bumps, but when it rains and car wet is, it makes almost to no sound)

I drove it to the mechanic and they said is stabilizer link bushings but im not really sure that is true.

Im not a mechanic, is my first car, im not really into cars but i tried to find it on internet and didn’t find anything.

I’ve been driving it with this problem around 6 months nothing happened but im getting worried because what mechanic said and i think it could be false diagnosis.

Can it be maybe motor or transmission while it dose not make sense for me that it should be stabilizer link bushing while car makes noises only when pressing gas pedal.

If you have any tips please help me. Im planing to drive to the different mechanic but i would like to have some clues that i can give them beforehand.

You SAY this…

But then you are told this…

And then did this…

Tell your new mechanic what you told us but don’t mention the previous diagnosis of stabilizer bar links. Why? Because it paints you as someone who won’t pay any attention to the mechanic’s diagnosis and they might decide you are too much trouble to do business with.

From what you describe, I think it IS stabilizer bar links and maybe stabilizer bar bushings as well.

Whenever I have experienced creaking noises from a car, it was always from bushings that had gone dry, or had cracked.

My car developed a rubber on metal squeek in the front end and I solved it by spraying AT-205 on all the rubber parts. It rejuvenates rubber.

thanks everyone for your answers,

i was skeptical about the bushing diagnosis because it only happens when i drive over bumps while giving gas, if i coast in neutral it make no noise, unless if it is some really big bump.

i will update this post when i get from mechanic, but first i need to wait for my appointment.

Thanks again.
