I like Walter and PeanutâŠ
and the rest of the gang.

Ohhh trust me, one of my favorites also⊠lol
Just trying not to offend anyone on hereâŠ
I heard he finally gave up drinking. The dude is younger then I am, but looks 10 years older. He quit Redneck Comedy trour because of his drinking. Or maybe he was asked to leave.
If you havenât yet - you should see the documentary of how he got started. Itâs pretty fascinating. I was watching Fluffy doing his routine and talking about his trip to the middle-east. Heâs the #2 comic in the middle-east. And Jeff Dunham is #1. And they all love Achmed. On Comedy central they showed Jeffâs show in the middle-east. Itâs a riot.
And bringing it back to cars.
Itâs not THAT the wind is blowing. Itâs WHAT the wind is blowing. Those 500 sit-ups you did this morning donât mean a thing if you get hit by a Volvo.
I have tried and pretty sure I have, watched all of Fluffyâs and Jeff Dunhamâs shows, both great comicsâŠ
As much as Achmed is loved all over the world he was not allowed in Malaysia⊠lol⊠well the government didnât like him anywayâŠ
The government in Saudi didnât like Jeffs show either. Thatâs why he had to perform in a large tent outside the city away from government eyes. But the people there loved him.
Forgot about that one, very funny and a huge tent!!..
When I saw Tater Salad at our local theater I asked if the audience could smoke since Ron did. No, but we could take drinks to our seats.
The best though was Fluffy, after doing his set spent an additional hour trying out new material on us.
As a kid I was a fan of Bob Hope, had the privilege of seeing him in person Christmas Day 1971.
Most of the comedy movies of the 30&40s, in my opinion, are dated, including The Hope&Crosby Road pictures and the Abbot&Costello movies though I still like âBuck Privatesâ.
When it comes to humor, tastes vary, I like the first âVacationâ movie and âChristmas Vacationâ.
Back to cars, there was a museum/consignment facility in Daytona, in the entrance lobby was the Adam West Bat Mobile, based on the Lincoln Futura, it was huge. I have a copy of a 49 Batman serial, no custom Batmobile, just a 49 Mercury convertible.
Sheâs a beaut, Clark!
One of my favorite comedians is still NJâs own Ernie Kovacs. His visual humor was wide-ranging, but in order to keep this automotive in nature, first we have his âgagâ commercial for a Nash Metropolitan, and then a real commercial for the 1955 Ford lineup.
Speaking of Bob Hope . . .
The Burbank Airport, which is moderately close to my house, was always called Bob Hope Airport
Lately, they decided to rename it âHollywood Burbank Airportâ
But everyone still calls it Bob Hope Airport
We had this traffic circle in Dover NH called Weeks Traffic circle. It was named after the Weeks restaurant that was there in the circle. Then about 20 years ago the traffic circle was so outdated they removed it and put in intersections and traffic lights. They renamed it Weeks crossing, but people still call it Weeks Traffic circle. Weeks restaurant also went out of business
Back in the 60s I took a girl to a movie in downtown Minneapolis. They had ash trays on the seat backs. As they used to say smoke em if ya got em.
Flying back from Nam I was in the back seat. I couldnât see more then 10 rows up with all the smoke in the cabin. Luckily it was cigarette smoke and not from an engine on fire.
The full name for BWI Airport is Baltimore Washington Thurgood Marshal International Airport. The original name was Friendship Airport, and I prefer that.
80 years ago, NYC changed the name of 6th Avenue to Avenue of the Americas. New Yorkers still call it 6th Avenue, and if someone refers to it by its ânewâ name, you know that he/she is a tourist.
