Without a schematic in hand and assuming the A/C system uses more than one fuse as many vehicles do, the most likely suspects would be:
Short in compressor clutch coil.
Dragging cabin blower motor.
Dragging radiator cooling fan.
You might check the owners manual for the fuse box layout diagram and post which fuse is blowing and exactly what it controls.
