My air conditioner takes about 5-10 miles of driving before it kicks in and starts cooling. Before that no cool air comes out. Any suggestions?
when it starts cooling, does it get cold or just cool? May be low on charge.
Disclaimer: I’M NO EXPERT! On our SUV the ac worked fine as long as we had some speed and good air was flowing into the front grill. But, when I stopped at a light the AC output went downhill within seconds, soon blowing warm air. The mechanic found two blown fuses for the two front electric cooling fans. In our case once the fuses were replaced the AC worked fine even when stopped… and the fuses have not blown again.
When it starts cooling it is very cold so not low on charge. I will look at fuses.
Thanks
