My AC is not holding a charge for for than 4 to 8 weeks. Any suggestions on what to fix and a cost to repair?
First thing is a thorough visual inspection
Any obvious problems, such as a cracked line/hose, greasy ac compressor or condenser, etc.
You could easily suck in some dye through the low side at idle, with the compressor engaged . . . google it
Then, with any luck, you’ll be able to see a green and glowing component. It might take a few days. If the evaporator is leaking, you won’t see the leak, because it’s tucked away out of sight
As for cost, depends on what is leaking
