AC/Cabin air filter question

I was told that all vehicles with AC have a cabin air filter.

My truck AC,but the manual says that my truck may,or may not have a filter.

Some cars and trucks have cabin air filters, and some don’t. It isn’t universal. Getting AC does not mean you have a cabin filter. Lot’s of cars with AC don’t have them.

I have a 2000 Blazer and there is no mention of a cabin air filter in the owner’s manual.

Many cars since maybe 2005 have a cabin filter…I don’t think ALL do yet.

My '02 Tahoe has A/C but no cabin filter.

There Is Usually A Location For A Filter, But Not All Models Have One Installed And The Location Is Just Left Empty.

The manual is correct. Take a look.
