My ABS light stayed on after driving home in slippery conditions last night. I also noticed a burning smell when I parked in the garage. Can anyone offer suggestions as to what’s happened?

@celticsfan

You need to get the abs fault codes retrieved and post them for us, please

For what it’s worth, the most common abs problems are wheel speed sensors

The abs module might have detected an implausible wheel speed signal, due to the slippage

Quick question . . . this morning, when you were driving the car, did the abs light stay on continuously?

Start by looking at your tires.
The ABS light combined with a burning smell suggests to me that you may have been driving on an almost flat tire.
