Before I take my '99 Mitzubishi Galant to a shop, what is the most common problem that turns the ABS light on…on the dash and have it stay on ? Checked fuse…that’s not it !
A faulty or disconnected wheel speed sensor will turn the light on. So will many other things.
When you take it to the shop the mechanic will check the ABS computer for Diagnostic Trouble Codes. The DTCs will tell him or her where the problem is.
Without the codes we’re all just guessing.
