I have a 2003 Lexus 300. The A/C Button has a green on indicator light. When lit the A/C works fine. Lately the A/C when on started to bloe hot air. I noticed the green indicator light was flashing. I pushed the a/c button on and off a few times and the light became a steady green. The A/C started to blow cold again. Five minutes later the whole process returned again. Now the green light constantly flashes and I cannot get it to stay steady. Thus no cold air. Does anyone know the cause and solution for this problem?
Could be a defective A/C relay. They have been known to fail on Toyota’s.
The most likely cause is low refrigerant level. Take the car to a shop that specializes in automotive AC systems. They will fix it.
