The AC in my 2003 Toyota Prius seems to work fine. However, after the AC has been running for awhile it stops running and the AC light begins to flash. If I hit the AC button on and off it will begin working again but will eventually stop working again and begin flashing. Does anyone have any experience with this problem?

One idea, pop the hood, look at the radiator area. Directly in front of the radiator is what appears to be another radiator, but that’s actually the A/C condenser. A/C’s physics method isn’t to actually cool anything; instead it moves heat from inside the car to outside, to the condenser. Inside cooler, condenser hotter. For this to work the heat in the condenser has to be blown away. If the condenser’s surface is clogged w/dirt or debris, that blocks the airflow through it, it keeps getting hotter, and and at some point prevents the A/C from working correctly.
