I Turn On The A/C To Max On My 2001 Blazer and A/C Clutch Will Not Spin. My Freon Is Full. How Do I fix This. PLEASE HELP!!!
You might have a bad pressure switch
Are you sure your compressor isn’t frozen?
How do you know the refrigerant (the proper technical term) is full?
You might check all of the fuses (2 10 Amps) as there are a couple involved with the compressor control system. The wiring schematic shows this is a bit involved with a compressor module, PCM input, and so on so I will not go into a lengthy diatribe on sorting this all out.
It’s entirely possible you may have to take this in and have an A/C specialist weed through it if all of the fuses are good.
how do you know freon charge is ok? a/c used to work. now it does not.
I had this problem with a 2000 Blazer right after I bought it in 2003, it turned out to be one of the pressure switches. During the summer of 2012, I noticed the AC was not cooling as well as it used to, I attributed this to old age.

If the ECM recognized that the freon was low when the AC switch was turned on it can cancel the signal to turn on the compressor. When that occurs the ECM must be cleared after the cause for the low refrigerant is eliminated.
