My 97 Ranger has been making what sounds like belt noise. It happens mostly before the truck is warmed up and is very loud when I decelerate through the 30 mph zone. I’ve had my serpentine belt and tensioner replaced, and it did not solve the problem.
Although probably not related, my check engine light has been on due to clogged fuel injectors.
Any idea what this birdlike squealing could be?
