My car is loosing large amounts of antifreeze and cooling fluid somewhere just above the oil filter. Is there a hose or something up there that would leak rapidly?
2. My engine would turn over but refuse to start as if there was no fule getting to the engine. Whenever I had it towed to the shop it would then start right away. The gas level indication showed about 1/8 of a tank of gas.
It’s all true. If one place can’t fix it, maybe another one will.
There are freeze plugs around most oil filters, which is a very simple and cheap fix. As for the no start condition, it could be nearly anything.
