95 Honda Accord stalls out while idling

I have a 95 Honda Accord Wagon (manual with 185,000 miles) that has had idling problems for a while. It will idle at 400rpms and recently has started stalling out while at stop lights and when rolling to a stop. Any advice? Thanks!

The problem might be with the idle air control circuit. There’s a component on the throttle body that allows the engine to idle anytime the gas pedal is released.

To determine if this is the cause, the next time you feel the engine is about to stall, put the transmssion in neutral, with your left foot on the brake pedal, slightly step on the gas pedal with your right foot. If doing this prevents the engine from stalling. the problem could be caused from a defective Idle Air Control/Idle Air Bypass valve, or a dirty throttle body.
