I’m in the middle of replacing the water pump on my 93 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera S (3300 V6)and the tensioner pulley is in the way of removing the last bolt holding the pump to the engine. Any suggestions on how to proceed?
A workshop manual would be helpful here…Can you remove the pulley?? Working on these FWD vehicles can be a challenge and it’s not unusual that the engine must be moved around a little when dealing with belt-driven accessories…
I’m trying to remove the pulley, now, but it’s stuck on pretty tight. I think that will end up being the solution, though. Other than this one bolt - which is already part way out - the water pump is free and ready to come off…
