I have a 88 Pontiac 6000 that was started and driven home after shutting it off the ignition switch is now dead. I put a new starter and battery in it and checked all the fuses. It seems like some of the interior switches have power and some do not. It’s not worth spending a lot on to fix but I don’t know what to check next or if it maybe something simple to fix. Any help or ideas would be appreciated.
Check for a burnt fusible link at the starter solenoid.
A fusible link is a wire with fuse molded in. If there’s a burnt one, you’ll find it pretty easily.
