2025 Honda CR-V - Backup camera glitch

It seems Honda engineers have been looking for a way to resolve this problem without having to replace thousands of audio units (back-up camera processing units are often integrated into the audio receiver). The same problem has been noted on 2023 and 2024 Honda vehicles but not in great numbers.

Google “Honda Service Bulletin 25-071” for the fix. Should be covered under the 3yr/36,000 mile warranty. You might need to put it out in the sun as that caused mine to fail. A black CR-V for about an hour in the Texas sun ensured constant black and white for me.
