why is an airbag missing in the back? (certified pre owned car)

Missing, as in big ugly hole there instead of the airbag??
Did you not look around and see the big ugly open hole before you took delivery of the vehicle??
Anyway, you need to be asking this question to the dealer you bought the vehicle from…
Suspension air spring or passive restraint airbag?
The 2024Tahoe information shows 6 or 7 airbags (depending on type of front seats), no airbags for rear seats other than side curtain airbags. If there are any passive restraint components missing or disconnected, the airbag warning light would be on.
For my own information, is it legal to sell a vehicle that has have the airbag(s) removed? Granted, this is not legal talk.
I know my dealership would not disarm my Takata airbags while waiting for replacements.
Which one is missing exactly.
