That’s an unusual symptom. Will likely require a shop’s expertise to resolve. Could be a wiring harness is being pinched and confusing the computer. hmmm … is it worse turning right vs left? Has your shop checked the battery and alternator function? Have they checked for any stored computer diagnostic codes? Was any shop work performed, or something else happened out of the ordinary just prior to noticing this problem?
“Surging” is frequently caused by a gunked-up Idle Air Control Valve. Cleaning it with carburetor cleaner usually works to remedy the problem, but I suppose that it is also possible that you need to replace the IAC.
But, we also need to know what you think you broke.
Are you sure you are hitting the brake when cornering and not the accelerator?
You are still under Honda’s warranty. bring it to your local dealer.
Powertrain Warranty
The Powertrain Warranty is another crucial aspect of Honda’s coverage. It extends to five years or 60,000 miles, covering the engine, transmission, and other key components of the drivetrain. This warranty ensures that major mechanical parts are protected against defects, providing long-term peace of mind.
A five-year-old vehicle may have more than 60,000 miles, many do have more. If this car was purchased before December 12, 2019, the warranty has expired by time.
