2019 Jeep Compass - Warning light can't be right

Does anyone have a problem with the Start/Stop system? I have the warning light but both batteries are good.

I am sure that someone does . But the problem may not be the same as yours . This might be one of those dealer only repair items .

Yes the warrning light CAN be right… you just don’t know how to find the problem. Head to a dealer or independent shop.

And I have a problem with the Stop/Start system. Don’t like 'em, not at all.

Does your Compass do the stop/start function while waiting at stoplights?

Does your Compass do the stop/start function while waiting at stoplights?

Use to. Does not anymore.

That is why you have a warning light.

It is probably telling you that the little secondary aux battery is shot or you are doing too many short trips and not allowing it to get fully charged . A lot of cars that FCa makes has a button you can push to shutoff the stop/start. Do that for awhile and see if it charges it and then the light goes off .

From what I’ve seen here and heard from others, A Jeep without a warning light (or 2) on can’t be right.
