Lost power while driving and dashboard lights for engine and electric stayed on.
Could you be a little more specific. With the description you have given us it could just about anything, from a $2 fuse to a $4000 engine rebuild.
What happened and under what circumstances? Does the engine start, does the engine turn over? What’s the mileage? Engine condition? I assume all the lights turn off when you remove the key, do they ALL come back on or only the “engine” light when you try to start the engine?

Completely normal for the lights to stay on if the engine stalls. Normal, at least, until you turn the key off when they should all go out.
