2019 HRV, check engine light, and park light stay on!
How did you manage to exceed or void your warranty in two years?
As mentioned, a 2019 should still be under warranty. I’m not a mechanic but my gut is telling me the symptoms are connected. My guess is a failing Body Control Module but a guess is all it is. Let an actual Honda shop look at it and perform a proper diagnosis.
The check engine light indicates the Powertrain control module has detected a fault.
The electronic parking brake will not automatically release if the check engine light is on. To release the parking brake push the parking brake button.
