When I put my 2019 Ford Fiesta SE in park is the car suppose to click once gear is put in park position?

It might be you are hearing the parking pawl engage, but I have never heard any of my cars do that.
In my opinion the preferred way ito set your parking brake first, then put transmission into park.
You have a warranty so the place for this question is the service department at the dealer. I really don’t know what you are hearing . I don’t hear a click when I put our 2018 Fiesta in park .
Could you be hearing the doors unlock ?
