My blind spot indicator, which is an LED on the door frame, rather than in the side view mirror, does not illuminate on a bright, sunny day but illuminates nicely after dark. Works fine when lane change lever is depressed. Any logic to this?

Assuming that you have the Q50, does your blind spot indicator work properly?
I don’t have Q50. You asked if there was logic to this. Apparently the sun’s angle combined with your height and seat position blinds the LED in the daytime. Infinity obviously tested this and this was the result. Seems a poor choice of location.
