Left signal remains on after turning. Have to shut it off manually each and every time!
The mechanism is probably broken. That happened to an old 1963 Chevrolet I had. My guess is it would be necessary to take the steering column apart to fix it. I’d live with it.
It may not be that difficult. It isn’t on many vehicles, but it may or may not be pricey. The stalk is usually the problem.
The multifunction switch needs replacing.
Tester
In the old days there were two little clips on the switch that were replaceable. You could get them from the junk yard or for 50 cents at a dealer. A little more expensive today but you don’t have to take the steering wheel off anymore.
