2017 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque - Rain leak

Experiencing a problem with a rain leak on the top right hand side of the windshield due to a rubber strip around the windscreen coming out. Don’t seem to get help from a couple of car mechanics/ Engineers I have contacted in the area.

Quite possible the windshield will have to come out and a new seal installed.
Google windshield repair. You can always go with the one advertised on TV.
Alternately, since you are at or near the end of your power train warranty, trade it in on a new vehicle.

Things are not likely to get better as this vehicle ages, so trading it in is a good suggestion, IMHO.

Just curious @jlbayliss1111_186195 , what’s the theory for the leak relationship w/ heated windshield vs non-heated? Is the heat melting the oem glue/sealant?
