About to buy a Sedona Kia 2017, with 31000 mileage, first bought in August 2016. Has anyone had any big problems with the 2017, did Kia fix the sliding doors? Any information would really be helpful. Many thanks.
According to carcomplaints.com, this car has absolutely no problem.
The 2015 and 2016 are on Consumer Reports’ list of recommended used cars. Not enough data on the 2017, but it is essentially the same. 2015 was the first year of the current iteration.
On the 2015 Noises/Leaks and Body Hardware are average reliability, Power Equipment below average. All other system better or much better than average. 2016 all systems better or much better than average reliability.
It’s really too soon to know of any major issues with 2017 model vehicles. I wonder, though, with 31,000 miles coming up on 2 years of service, what kind of miles were driven and whether the oil was changed regularly (along with the fairly minimal amount of required service due up to this point).
